Really, really enjoyed this audiobook!
I've realised that urban fantasies translate a whole lot better into audio than straight romance. Perhaps it's because the stories are more plot driven and move along a lot faster. Its success was probably due to the narrator, Dina Pearlman, who reminded me of Barbara Rosenblatt- both have mellow, warm tones and can 'do' men well without sounding like they're coughing up a lung.
I sewed my quilt and listened to Jo the Weather Warden kick some ass and was totally riveted.
I can't say if I would have enjoyed it as much if I'd read the book - but I loved Jo the Weather Warden. Loved her Djinn, David, and can't wait to listen to the second in the series.
